ART 129-901 INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOG Introductory level course designed to explore fundamentals of composition using digital photography and related support technology. Stresses the application of the elements of design and the principles of composition through tranditional photographic assignments and is appropriate for non-art majors, art minors, and art majors in all tracks except photography. Instruction includes use of a digital camera and basic image manipulation programs. Students must provide their own camera. Prerequisite: ART 121 for B.A. and B.F.A. Six hours per week. Meets General Education III (Prior to Fall 2008 met General Education IB).
ART 399-901 INTERNATIONAL FIELD STUDY Travel and study of art, geography, history and culture of selected countries. Pre-tour lectures and other activities required. May be repeated once for credit. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Meets General Education IIIA or IIIB (Prior to Fall 2008: IB).
