CMAT 100-452 FUND OF COMMUNICATION Surveys the skills necessary to articulate oneself effectively in a variety of communication settings. Topics include interpersonal relationship, formal and informal groups, and public forums with a primary focus on basic presentation skills. Designed for non-communication arts majors and minors. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIIA and IIIC (Prior to Fall 2008: IB).
CMAT 310-151 SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION Participation in and analysis of small group discussion. Emphasizes communication within the small group setting and effective group decision making. Prerequisite: C or better in CMAT 297. Three hours per week with enhancement.
IDIS 330-151 INTERDIS RESEARCH SEMINAR Upper-level interdisciplinary course focused on a seminar topic. Leads to the in-depth integration of the students' work in a broad range of environments in relation to the topic. Prerequisite: Junior standing or permission of instructor. Three hours per week with enhancement.
