2014 Spring

  • ELI 31-002 ACADEMIC WRITING I
    This four-level writing series is designed to help non-native speaking students become effective writers in an academic setting. The focus is on academic writing, which includes the mastery of punctuation and grammar structures and editing and revising to improve communication. This course is available twice in a school year and meets three hours every week. Prerequisites: Courses must be taken sequentially. Corequisite: Michigan English Placement Test. Three hours per week.
  • ELI 32-002 ACADEMIC WRITING II
    This four-level writing series is designed to help non-native speaking students become effective writers in an academic setting.   • ELI 99-003 INTENSIVE STDY ABRD PROGRAM
    Designed to provide a rich learning experience for students from SU partnering institutions. Integrate linguistic, cultural and academic experiences through in-class instruction and first-hand experiences in various settings, both academic and social. See and experience American life. Take weekend-long cultural excursions to East Coast cities and resorts, including Ocean City; Washington, D.C.; New York; and Philadelphia.
