  • HLTH 240-001 DRUG EDUCATION
    Examination of the social, psychological, physical and emotional aspects of alcohol, tobacco, over-the-counter drug and illegal drug use and associated behaviors. Emphasis placed on information and concepts required as foundation knowledge for school health educators. Prerequisite: HLTH 110 or permission of instructor. Three hours per week.
  • HLTH 325-002 PLAN & ASSESS HLTH PRGRMS
    Overview of needs assessment, program planning and evaluation of health education programs. Provides candidates with the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate a health education experience. Emphasis placed on information and concepts required for school health educators. Prerequisite: HLTH 225. Three hours per week with enhancement.
