  • CMAT 490-003 COMMUNICATION SEMINAR
    Intensive study in speech or communication studies. Students should choose a seminar in their track. Substantial research paper/academic project and class presentation are required. May be taken twice under different subtitles, but only four credits may be applied to the communication arts major. Prerequisites: Senior Standing and permission of the instructor. Three hours per week with enhancement.
  • HIST 415-001 HISTORY & FILM
    Examines the impact of film on the study and understanding of history. Includes a study of how film has been used to portray 20th century events, how it has captured major events on film and how its power can be used to manipulate public opinion. Documentaries, narrative films and scholarly works will be used as resources. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing or permission of instructor. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education requirement IIB.
  • HIST 515-091 HISTORY & FILM
