HLTH 325-001 PLAN & ASSESS HLTH PRGRMS Overview of needs assessment, program planning, and evaluation of health education programs. Provides candidates with the opportunity to plan, implement, and evaluate a health education experience. Emphasis placed on information and concepts required for school health educators. Prerequisites: HLTH 225, 230 and 240. Three hours per week.

HLTH 480-001 INTERNSHIP IN COMMUNITY HLTH Practrical health education experience under the supervision of a local, professional mentor and university supervisor. A minimum of 540 supervised hours of service in a community based health setting. Prerequisites: Completion of all required major core curriculum courses with a C or better and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50. Thirty-six hours per week.
