PSYC 412-001 PSYCHOLOGY OF RELIGION Offers a psyschological perspective of religion and spirituality by focusing on empirical findings regarding the behavior and cognitive processes of individuals engaged in religious and spiritual activities. The goal is to think about religion psychologically by asking questions to which theory and research can be applied in pursuit of answers. Prerequisite: PSYC 101. Three hours per week with enhancement.
PSYC 485-001 PSYCHOLOGY PRACTICUM Provides psychology majors with training experience in a variety of clinical settings. Students may earn no more than six hours in undergraduate practicum courses. Prerequisites: Junior psychology majors only and permission of instructor. Minimum of two hours per week supervision, eight hours per week of field work. (P/F with pass equivalent to C or better.)
