We wanted to ensure students have quality and variety, believing that students whose basic needs for food are well-met are more likely to stay in school, get good grades and graduate. The Marketplace meets that expectation and more. Students enter through a doorway from the concourse and pick up a tray. They check out the choices on the menus at each kiosk, at the day's choices, and sampling the aroma of stir-fry, fresh-dough pizza and Mexican favorites. Lines are short, if there are lines at all. Students don't mind waiting a couple of minutes for a meal prepared just for them.     View 3D Movie  (requires Apple's QuickTime)   Every kiosk offers daily lunch and dinner specials. Those specials are on a  cycle, so students don't have to worry about repetition. A special is repeated no more than five times each semester. Student comment cards are reviewed daily to check the pulse on our customers' experiences.   Students customize their own meals. Craving a soft taco, spaghetti, mashed potatoes and a salad? You've got it! Want a roast beef sandwich with those three slices of pizza, and a root beer float for a chaser? You're the boss. You can take as much or as little as you want, in as many trips as you want to make, and eat it in any of The Commons' dining rooms you choose.
