Edelglass' work in philosophy has taken him into many different classrooms, including a Tibetan refugee settlement in Nepal, a federal prison in New York State and the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics in Dharamsala, India. He currently teaches in the Philosophy Department at Marlboro College. He also serves as co-editor of the Journal of Environmental Philosophy and is co-editor of Buddhist Philosophy: Essential Readings,  published by Oxford University Press.
