» Theatre: The Laramie Project

October 10-13* & 17-20*
Theatre: The Laramie Project
Fulton Hall Black Box Theatre, 8 p.m. & *2 p.m.
A young man, Matthew Shepard, brutally beaten and tied to a barbed wire fence is left to die. His offense was his sexual orientation. Based on interviews of those involved and affected by this demonstration of hatred in an otherwise peaceable small town, The Laramie Project explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of which it is capable (mature content). The October 12 performance marks the 15th anniversary of the attack. A candlelight vigil precedes that evenings performance. All proceeds go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in continued support of its humanitarian efforts.
Admission: $15; $12 seniors, students & SU alumni with ID
