Lerner and Loewes Camelot became a cultural icon of the early 1960s as the Kennedy Administration tapped Arthurian legend to express a spirit of youthful hope and optimism. Walton explores the evolution of the Arthurian legend over time, its deployment by earlier
political figures and how Camelot came to name a short but powerful moment in the American experience. Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information visit www.salisbury.edu
