Information Desk/ Ticket Sales
What you need to Know:
If your group is planning to sell tickets for your event, please keep in mind that the Student Activities and Information Desk's joint ticket process can take up to several weeks for ticket approval. Because of this, it is important that your group plan in advance if you choose to sell tickets.
General Policies for Registered Student Organizations
Ticket Forms and Requirements [+]
1. If you are selling admission tickets fo your event, you will need to fill out a ticket contractand you will need to create tickets using the provided ticket template (if publications isn't creating your tickets for you).
Please fill out the contract completely; it requires several signatures, along with information regarding your event.
You will need to turn the contract into the OSAOL so that the Coordinator of Student Life or the G.A. of Operations can review it. You will also need to provide the tickets when you turn in the contract so that they can submit both the tickets and the contract to the Information Desk.
2. Tickets must be numbered in sequential order.
An organization can creat the tickets themselves or purchase them elsewhere, as long as the design is approved by the OSAOL. Again, all tickets must be numbered in sequential order. If you choose to, you may print your tickets in the OSAOL with approved paper that they will provide.
Salisbury's Publications' Department will be happy to design and manufacture tickets for RSOs/Greeks as long as you complete a work order 2 weeks prior to when your organization needs the tickets. Please schedule a meeting with Sheree Satchell (for RSOs) or Sara Lowery (for Greeks) to complete a work order for tickets if you would like Publications to design and/or manufacture them. Please note-There may be a design fee and print fee. You will need funding approval first.
