The Office of Student Activities, Organization & Leadership wants to help you plan a successful event! With that in mind, we have developed several ways to help you advertise for your upcoming events. Take advantage of just one of them OR all of them. We are eager to get your information out there! Take a look:
Salisbury University recognizes the use of chalking as an effective medium utilized to advertise programs and events, as well as to allow for the freedom of expression that contribute to intellectual development and social discourse among members of the university community. Pursuant the Salisbury University Promise, all are expected demonstrate respect for diverse groups, individuals, and opinions. Therefore, chalking may be used by students, faculty, or staff based on an adherence to the following guidelines:
Salisbury University reserves the right to remove or restrict any messages or images that serve to compromise the integrity of the University, or that may contribute to a hostile environment. Individuals found in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action under the University’s Student Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures.

The Student Life Calendar is a great tool for your group to utilize when hosting an event. Please keep in mind, that each student event that the OSAOL approves is added to the Calendar. You can visit this link at any time to view your event. If there is an issue with the information provided, please contact Sheree Satchell at SMSATCHELL@salisbury.edu or the Graduate Assistant of Operations at email@example.com .
Student Activities will not post your events to their instagram or twitter without your permission. Therefore, if you would like us to advertise your events on either of these networks, please email the Graduate of Operations at firstname.lastname@example.org with the event information and a picture or information sheet you would like us to include (we will not create an advertisement for you).
