Mental Health Self-Assessment
Counseling Center has partnered with
to offer free screenings and self-assessment for mental
health concerns, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic
stress disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and alcohol
problems. These free
screenings are anonymous and will help you find out whether or
not a professional consultation would be helpful to you.
They are not to be substituted for an assessment by a
qualified mental health professional.
When you click onto this link you will be
guided through steps in completing the screenings.
First, you will select the type of screening you are
interested in completing.
Several pertain to mood, such as depression, bipolar
disorder, anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorder; one to
alcohol use and another to eating problems.
Next, you will be prompted to answer some questions about

screenings so as to insure anonymity.
Finally, you will be asked a series of questions aimed at
screening for problems related to depression, anxiety, bipolar
disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, alcohol abuse, or
eating disorders, depending on which screening you selected.
Each screening will only take a few minutes and you can
complete as many as you like.
Results will indicate if further assessment is

or psychological issue, you should schedule an appointment at
the Counseling Center to have an assessment and to find
out more about what resources including counseling might be
helpful to you.
