Senior Commencement Speaker Information

Selection Information
The senior commencement speaker is selected from
student applicants who:
- are eligible to graduate December 2009 with University Honors
(see Undergraduate Catalog 2008-2010, “Graduation with
Honors,” p. 60);
-
have a cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above (including
Winter 2009, if attended);
- have completed or will complete by the end of the
Fall Semester at least 56 semester hours at SU, of which at least
30 semester hours are in 300- or 400-level courses with
grades of A, B, or C;
- will receive an undergraduate degree in
December 2009.
Applications are sent to eligible students in late October.
