To participate in and receive credit for classroom clicker activities, all students must have a Turning Account Subscription and a response device ( a clicker or a web enabled mobile device , if allowed by the course instructor).
The following links provide students with information and instructions on how to create and register a Turning Account, purchase options, how to redeem Turning Account Subscription, response device options, as well as a list of Clicker Courses.

Students will purchase their clickers/Turning Account Subscription from the SU Bookstore. Please check with the bookstore for your class clicker requirements and purchase options.
Subscription: If you already have a Clicker OR if your instructor allows the use of smart phones/tablets as a clicker, you would only need to purchase a Turning Account subscription. You should check with your instructor or the SU Bookstore if the use of smart phones/tablets as a clicker is allowed. A Turning Account subscription comes with ResponseWare for using a smart device as a clicker. One Term, One Year and Five Years subscriptions are available at the bookstore.
Bundle: If this is your first class for which clickers are required AND your instructor does not allow the use a smart phones/tablets as a clicker (or it is allowed and you choose not to use your smart device as a clicker), you would need to buy a bundle. A bundle includes both a clicker and a Turning Account subscription. One Term, One Year and Five Years Bundles are available at the bookstore.
All students must have a Turning Account subscription and register their account in MyClasses in order to get credit for any graded clicker activities. Complete the following steps to create a Turning Account, redeem your Turning Account License and Register your device.

On the Turning Account user Profile page, titled MyProfile, if you have a check mark for the Subscriptions, Response Devices and Learning Management System, you are successfully registered.
Your instructor may allow the use of smart devices (cell phone/tablet) as a response device, or “clicker”, to answer TurningPoint questions in class. Your Turning Account includes both a physical clicker and a ResponseWare subscription for using a smart device as a clicker, but you should always check with your instructor to see if both are allowed in class.
Important: Never share your clicker with another student! It is registered to you in MyClasses and you will not get credit for your responses if shared.
Each classroom has a unique receiver channel number, you must set your clicker to the classroom channel number in order for your responses to be received by your instructor. Your instructor will provide you with the classroom receiver number. Follow instructions on how to set clicker channel number.
Designed for the visually impaired, the ResponseCard RF Accessibility (RF-A) clicker contains all the features and functionality of ResponseCard RF, but with Braille characters adjacent to the corresponding buttons. In addition, ResponseCard RF-A includes a vibration motor that pulses when various actions occur. ResponseCard RF-A is compatible with TurningPoint assessment software. If allowed by your instructor, you can use a web-enabled smart device such as a mobile phone or tablet as a response device (clicker). Always check with your instructor to see if the use of smart devices is allowed in class.
Your instructor will provide you with a Session ID at the beginning of class that will allow you to enter the polling session on your device. You can download and use the free TurningPoint app to login to your Turning Account to enter the Session ID and join the session. Alternatively, you can go to https://responseware.turningtechnologies.com using any web browser on your device, log into your Turning Account and select “Join a Session”, and enter the Session ID to join the session.
