As a pre-professional student and chemistry major you should strongly consider
the biochemistry program. With the addition of two biology courses you will
fulfill the recommended courses suggested by the Henson School of Science and
Technology Health Professions Advisory Committee. At the end of this
undergraduate program you will also receive a chemistry degree with a strong
emphasis in biochemistry which may open other career doors to you if your goals
and directions change in the future.
If you are a pre-pharmacy student you should be a chemistry major and will be
advised by a chemistry faculty member. It is important to closely coordinate
