eRefund Program
Salisbury
University now offers electronic refunds to students with
eligible refunds. If you anticipate a credit balance from
financial aid (e.g., grants, loans, scholarships, etc.), you may
choose to enroll in this eRefund Program to receive your student
refund electronically.
Salisbury University has partnered with Sallie Mae® to provide
direct deposits into your personal checking/savings account or
onto a Sallie Mae® Debit MasterCard®. If you have questions
about the Debit MasterCard®, please contact Sallie Mae at
1-888-553-4108.
Take advantage of either option and you’ll receive these
benefits:
• No lines to pick up refund checks
• No trips to the bank to cash checks
• No delays waiting for the State to
process checks
• Quicker access to your funds
If you select the debit card option, you are essentially opening
an account with Sallie Mae Bank. As with your personal checking
or savings account, bank accounts may carry certain fees (e.g.,
out-of-network ATM usage). Please check with your personal bank
regarding its fee structure.
To enroll, simply log into your Gullnet account and follow this
navigation:
Self Service > Campus Finances > eRefund Disbursements
You will be directed to a secure Sallie Mae website where you
will enroll and select your eRefund disbursement method (e.g.,
direct deposit or debit card). We’ve noticed that some
students are not selecting their eRefund disbursement method.
Please remember to select this or you will receive a paper
check. There is no need to create a separate Sallie Mae
username/password.
eRefund will be open for enrollment again
from February 11, 2013 to August 2, 2013.
All students who enroll in the eRefund program must also
check in through Gullnet once it opens.
To ensure that you
receive your refund as early as possible, complete your
enrollment and check-in as soon as possible.
If you have any questions about eRefunds, please contact the
Cashiers Office at 410-543-6060 or
cashiers@salisbury.edu.
