Associate Director for Internships at the University of Mary Washington
(Fredericksburg, VA)
This position is responsible for managing the academic credit internship
program. Particular focus will be given to expanding the opportunities
available to students at the University and to increase student
participation in the program. The position reports to the Director of Career
Services. Organizational Objective: Required Qualifications Master's degree
in Education or related field OR due to complete a master's degree program
by December 31, 2009. Experience in career services or a corporate
recruiting environment. Effective written, oral and public presentation
skills.
Preferred Qualifications Significant familiarity with internship programs.
Two to five years experience in career services or recruitment. Experience
with employer/internship development.
