Job Title: Biological Aide
Job Description: Working with Environmental Scientists on a variety of projects that may include routine mosquito surveillance in wetland and upland habitats, insecticide handling and application, insecticide efficacy testing, aircraft calibration, or wetland water management projects. This position also addresses all citizen mosquito complaints and conducts public education efforts on how communities and citizens can protect themselves from mosquito borne diseases. In addition, this position involves use of boats and tracked all-terrain vehicles.

What Major: Candidates must possess a valid drivers license. College level science course work and experience in biological sampling is preferred. Biological Aides must be in good physical condition and able to work out-of-doors, often under harsh conditions (heat and biting insects). On the job training will be provided.
