Job Title: Infant/Toddler and Pre-school Teachers
Job Description: Infant/Toddler (8 weeks to 3 years)Preschool (3 to 5 years) Teachers in a Migrant Head Start Program for the coming growing season (starting about mid-May). Our centers are located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, in the towns of Cheriton and Parksley. Responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate Head Start environment for the assigned group of children in the classroom. Position primarily follows service plans as detailed in the RFD/VCC Early Childhood Education Services Manual.
Pay: $10.20 to $12.25/hour

What Major:
For I/T Teacher:. Preferred - Associate of Art or Science degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and documented relevant experience working with young children. Accepted - Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalent and documented relevant experience working with young children. For Pre-School Teacher:Preferred - Bachelor of Art (BA) /Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Bilingual (Spanish) Accepted - Associates of Art or Science (AA/AS) degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
