Wanted: Graduate Student to work in Career Services

Graduate Student needed to work in the Career services Office for the academic year 2013-14. You will receive extensive training. This position requires you to possess a willingness to serve students in an excellent manner as well as the ability to professionally interact with employers/recruiters in person and on the phone. You will assist in all office duties and services and be assigned special projects as the need arises. Specific duties may include; resume reviews, public relations, publicizing internships and jobs, assisting with event coordination, working with students on a one-to-one basis, coordinating social media communications, answering emails, updating a variety of databases etc. A mastery of Word is required. Good presentation and teaching skills are a plus. Candidates from all Masters Program are encouraged to apply.
This position is 1-2 days per week—the days are flexible but MWF are preferable. This is not a Graduate Assistant position but pays 9-10$ per hour. If you are a first year grad student and will be here for 2 years, this is a very good opportunity to position for a GA position your second year with us.
