Description Of Internship:The OCM Campus Intern position provides a great opportunity to help prepare college students gain practical sales and marketing experience. You will gain an understanding of promotional and operational functions of a fund raising organization including theory and practical application of attained knowledge. The Intern represents OCMs various programs on campus. We seek highly motivated students with outstanding communication skills. Primary Objectives Management Develop an entrepreneurial business mentality. Understand how companies conceive and initiate marketing strategies. Understand project planning and management. Learn how to work in a team-based environment. Marketing/Sales Understand assessment of consumer need and target markets. Learn to apply marketing tactics and presentation skills. Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns. Become familiar with advertising design for fund raising programs. Learn how to increase sales/revenue through different marketing initiatives. Incorporate different forms of media advertising. Personal Development Develop planning, organizational and time management skills. Learn campaign management and delivery. Develop remote, team-based work competencies.
Qualifications: Must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in 2013-2014 in any major. Live in close proximity to campus during the summer.
