Description Of Internship: We provide invitations - all children's wear needs for special occasions, such as Baptism and 1st Holy communion, and weddings - small rentals for weddings & showers - supply and design Candy buffets for any event. There is a lot of marketing via all modes: internet, phone, social media, and in person. Intern would assist in enhancing all existing sites and creating flyers, etc. and time in storefront dealing with clients. Opportunity is available for alterations assistant. We often create specialty designs,as well. Creativity is a plus as options are endless. Storefront is part of Weddings on the Plaza and intern would have interaction with all other facets of the industry.
Qualifications: Computer knowledge and current workings of social media. Basic sewing skills if desired to work with The Dress Doctor and alterations. Any business, marketing or fashion major. Theatre major is even appropriate and Maria(the Supervisor) has extensive background in such.
Rate Of Pay: Possible commision
