LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP SPRING/SUMMER 2013.  Marketing/Public Relations

     * Internship would be under the auspices of Little League, International and the 2013 Big League & Senior League Softball World Series Tournament Director, Sussex County, DE.
     * Intern Responsibilities:  - Assist in structuring sponsorship levels/criteria; include analysis of ESPN DVD 32 hours total.  - Assist in structuring overall sponsorship presentation 20 hours total.  - Attend 2-3 sponsor meetings learning and presenting certain pieces of the presentation......8-12 hours total.  - Fully manage "Adopt A Team" program, include meeting with Southern Delaware Tourism to solicit the required support of 10 Chambers / municipalities Necessary hours will be 8 in April (meeting), 15 hrs. each in May, June, July (email / phone follow-up), 20 hrs in late July (finalization of bags/certificates), 10 hrs. in Aug. (presentation planning/coverage). Total hours equal 85 for 1 tournament or 125 for 2 tournaments.  - Take lead on Event/Sponsor PR articles (writing and placement).....estimate 10 articles....July....35-55 hours.  - Design/implement social media strategy for sponsorship development....May/ June...40 hours.  - Assist in developing/ implementing strategy for converting Coastal Pointe WS Supplement into a revenue source for LL WS...May...10 hours..  - Assist in general presentations (e.g., Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Club) and sponsor presentations,15-20 hours.  - Provide liaison and follow-up for program ads....May/June/July...45-90 hrs.  - Manage sponsorship development and implementation of program photo inserts......June/July...10 hrs.      - ESPN internship (to be arranged)......August....40 hours total.

TOTAL HOURS RANGE......340-539......with 80% of task after mid-May.
