Kids Care-Anywhere Incorporated is seeking a Marketing and/or Business Management Intern.  This internship entails assisting and implementing all marketing strategies by developing various elements essential for the growth of the organization. This individual will generally work under the Marketing Director and will carry out several tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the organization.

Kids Care-Anywhere Incorporated offers many sitter services that cater around to anyone’s schedule. Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain social media presence, including scheduling Facebook updates
  • Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories
  • Designing flyers, graphics, and other marketing material for major events hosted by Kids Care-Anywhere Incorporated
  • Update the website when needed
  • Reach out to the community organizations, local schools, & general public to increase awareness of the company
  • Collaborating with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications

Qualifications:

  • Firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business Management)
  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Word Processing, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • An effective communicator, both written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts.
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.

Start Date: Position open until filled.

Compensation: This is an Unpaid internship through an accredited college or university.
