Research and Data collection opportunity NOW
Date inactive: 3/15/2013

The Maryland Safe and Supportive Schools project (MDS3), sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, would like to give graduate and undergraduate students in social/behavioral sciences and education programs in local colleges and universities the opportunity to perform research data collection. This opportunity is for a research project that is examining the academic environment and classroom management strategies used in select Maryland high schools. The data collectors will be paid as contractors for their time ($15 per hour) and reimbursed for mileage. The students in your program will also benefit by gaining practical research experience. The data collectors will be needed from February until early May with active data collection taking place from March until early May. We are currently recruiting 20-25 data collectors throughout the state. Please have any interested students send their resume to mriesner@jhsph.edu. If there are any questions or concerns about this opportunity or the program, please have the potential data collectors contact Matthew Riesner at mriesner@jhsph.edu or (410) 347-3213. Also if you happen to know anyone who would be interested or anyone departments that would also have students interested, please spread the word.Thank you,
