Job Title: Sea Gull Century Graduate Assistant
- Planning, organizing, and implementing Sea Gull Century (SGC), a bike ride that consists of three routes and over 7,000 riders starting and ending at Salisbury University.
- Tasks may include: Responsible for the registration of all riders, organizing over 500 staff/student volunteers, managing outside vendors for Expo area, coordinating with on campus and local organizations to carry out the event, ordering and keeping inventory of SGC merchandise for webstore, managing daily office request from phone calls to emails, and other various tasks.
- Involvement in a variety of Foundation events including, Golf Classic, President’s Club, Ribbon Cutting/ Ground Breaking, Children’s Literature Festival, Lifelong Learning, and SU summer camps.
- Desirable qualities include: hard-working, takes initiative, dependable, self-motivated, flexible work hours, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, and solid organizational skills.
Location: The SU Foundation Center, 1308 Camden Avenue
Hours Per Week: 20; Summer 2013 start date
