Equipment
Checkout Person, -This applicant will be check out/in equipment that student will need
for the class assignments. -This entrant can be from any discipline
background. They must be trustworthy and dependable.

Night
Monitor in Editing Area. -This applicant will be helping students understand the editing
equipment. There is not teaching or doing the students’ work position.
They must dependable and trustworthy.
Skills: Knowledge of Avid and or Final Cut Pro nonlinear edit systems
-The student should have taken Electronic Field Production.
Hours: 5:00 p.m. – Midnight.
Pay: $8.00 /hour

Distant
Learning Technician Facilitator. -This applicant will help the professor of the class with the operation
of the equipment. This person will aid them when they need to operate
different pieces of equipment. This person must be very dependable and
very attentive with what is going on in class.

Building
Manager. The Guerrieri University Center is seeking qualified
applicants for a Building Manager for evening hours. Building Managers
are responsible for the over site of the Guerrieri University Center
from 4:30pm – 12:00am Monday – Friday and 8:00am – 12:00am Saturday and
12:00pm – 12:00am on Sundays. Candidates should be available to work 15
– 20 hours a week. Starting pay for this position is $8.00/hr. Building
Managers report directly to the Guerrieri University Center Facilities
Coordinator and support the Facilities Coordinator with the day-to-day
operations of the building after normal business hours. Building
Managers are to supervise the building during the evening and on
weekends and ensure that all GUC policies and procedures are enforced
and that the mission of the University Center and Salisbury University
are observed. Additionally Building Managers are required to ensure that
all meeting rooms are set up properly for reservations after 5:00pm, on
weekends, and that the set ups are completed for the following morning.
Occasionally Building Managers will be given special assignments and
tasks by the Facilities Coordinator. In the absence of the Facilities
Coordinator and Desk Services Coordinator the Building Manager is
responsible for supervision of the Information Desk and Attendants and
provide direction to the housekeeping staff. Qualifications:- Full time
Salisbury University Student - Minimum 2.5 GPA - Leadership
experience - Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills -
Responsible. Prior event planning and facilities experience a

Student
Assistant- Commons Dining Hall; The Commons is hiring for the
fall semester for the position of student assistant in the marketplace
food court. Come earn money in a fun work atmosphere!! The Commons
offers 20 hours per week with a starting pay of $7.00per hour.
Applicants can enjoy flexible hours and must be able to work every other
weekend. Applications can be obtained at the Commons cashier station
during regular business hours or at:

includes but is not limited to food handling, customer service and
sanitation. It’s not the most glorious work in the world, but it is easy
work. You will clean, you will take out trash, and it will feel like a
job. But you will be with a team of other students sharing in the
responsibility, so you might make some friends and have a little fun in

University
Writing Center. University Writing Center Consultant.
Application Procedure: We are now accepting applications. Successful
candidates would enroll in a Spring 2008 training course and begin
working at the Writing Center in Fall 2008. Visit the Writing Center to
get an application, or print one from our website,

under “Join Our Staff.” The Writing Center director will screen
applications and offer interviews to selected job candidates. Rate
of Pay: $8 per hour. Part-time. The number of students who work as
peer consultants during any one semester varies depending upon funding,
the needs of the Center, and the number of peer consultants available.
The number of hours any one student works is negotiated each semester;
the normal work load is 6-12 hours per week. Students are paid by the
hour for their work in the Center and for any staff development meetings
held at the Center. Position Description: Consultants will work
one-on-one with student writers, providing relevant feedback about the
student’s text and facilitating the student’s growth as a writer.
Requirements: Consultants must possess strong writing and interpersonal
skills. They will need to be attentive listeners who can work
collaboratively with others and can develop rapport quickly with student
writers. This position requires flexibility and versatility, since
clients who visit the Center have a wide range of writing abilities,
learning styles, and personality traits. Applicants must have
successfully completed at least one writing-intensive course at
Salisbury University. Students from all majors are welcome to apply.
Those who are hired as consultants must complete required training and
all related training assignments. If you are offered the job as
writing consultant, you must register for a three-credit training class
(ENGL 494), which you must complete to the satisfaction of the
University Writing Center director before you start tutoring in the

Technology Services Attention: freshmen or sophomore students
Classroom Technology Services is currently accepting applications for
employment for the Fall semester. Our department supports
technology in the classrooms. You must have a good working knowledge of
computers. This position requires someone who can conduct themselves in
a professional manner and be extremely dependable. You must be able to
work in a fast paced environment and in all weather conditions. You must
be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and work on ladders. For more
