Job Search Strategies

job search

So, you’re ready to get out there and find that ideal job or internship. Whether you’re looking for an internship or a full-time job after college, the process of looking for the position/employer is pretty much the same and both include developing an effective search strategy. A search strategy is an action plan that will help you land that ideal job offer. Your plan will help you attain your goal and land that career that matches your skills, personality, values, etc. that’s the right fit for you.  If you plan correctly, you should receive that job or internship offer you know is the right fit for you.

When you begin to apply for jobs and internships, you will need customized resumes and cover letters. For guidance, read about job search skills, meet with a staff member for a resume or cover letter review or check out our Video Library.
