Grades 4-6, Immersion* (Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Spanish), Latin, Librarian, Mathematics, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physics, Reading, School Counseling, Spanish, Special Education, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Technology Education (*Fluent speakers with elementary education preK-6 endorsement or dual endorsed in World Language preK-12 and elementary education preK-6)
At the event, we will interview prescreened candidates and in some cases, we will extend job offers. Applications are open for the 2016-2017 school year! FCPS instructional job fair interviews will be by invitation only.
Please note that student teachers and interns, placed in FCPS, are exempt from attending our job fair as their school principals will complete an evaluation of their performance in lieu of an interview at our job fair. The University of DE’s Annual Education Job Fair (Project Search) will be held on Wednesday, April 20th, from 8:45am to 4pm at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center and SU students are invited. They anticipate recruiters/representatives from appx. 100 school districts/organizations…most from the Mid-Atlantic region but some coming from further away locations. All are anxious to meet with candidates to share information about upcoming needs for the 2016-17 school year, and some many conduct interviews on the spot.

The Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area (FPA-NCA) chapter invites you and your financial planning students to join them in their 3rd Annual Career Fair in Herdon, Virginia on Friday, February 19, 2016. If you are interested in working for a firm located in the DC-Metro, or Maryland area, this is a great opportunity to apply for internships and full-time jobs and interview in person with employers. Attached is a flyer with more details about this event, including a tentative agenda. The cost of participating on February 19th is only $40 for financial planning students, which includes the events and breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments all day.
