The Master of Science in Mathematics Education (M.S.M.E.) is designed to improve mathematics instruction in middle and high schools. The target audience includes state-certified teachers and students working toward certification in another program approved by the Maryland or Delaware State Department of Education. The M.S.M.E. offers a track designed for middle school mathematics teachers and another track designed for high school mathematics teachers. Both tracks immerse teachers in the mathematical concepts and strategies necessary to help their students acquire a sound understanding of mathematics.
