General Information:
Salisbury University is located on a lovely 140-acre campus in the city of Salisbury in Wicomico County on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore, a part of the Delmarva Peninsula. SU is part of the University of Maryland System.

Salisbury has a metropolitan population of 70,000. Some 7,000 students are enrolled in SU.

The city of Salisbury lies 30 miles west of the resorts at Ocean City, Maryland, and the Assateague Island National Seashore. Salisbury is 115 miles southeast of Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington, DC. The city is 125 miles south of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and 125 miles north of Norfolk, Virginia.

Salisbury is at the conjunction of east-west U.S. Route 50 and north-south U.S. Route 13. Salisbury University is positioned on U.S. Route 13 at the southern edge of the city of Salisbury.

Flying to Salisbury:
It is possible to fly all the way here, landing at the Salisbury-Wicomico County Regional Airport (SBY), or you may fly from Philadelphia or Charlotte, NC and rent a car. Ask your travel agent!

Driving to Salisbury:
From the West: Follow Route 50 East into Salisbury. Use the business district directions once approaching Salisbury. Take a right immediately after the bridge onto Mill Street (fifth light in Salisbury). Continue straight through the two intersections. Do not bear right or left. This street becomes Camden Avenue. The University is located on the left in approximately one mile. As you reach the campus,  continue on Camden Avenue until you reach Dogwood Drive. Take a left on Dogwood Drive and you will view a parking lot on the left. Park in this lot. You will enter the Guerrieri University Center (facing you) and Career Services is located in Room 133. 

From the East: Follow Route 50 West into Salisbury. Take a right on Business Route 13. Stay on 13 until you view the university on the right. Proceed to Dogwood Drive and take a right. Turn into first parking lot on the right. You will enter the Guerrieri University Center (facing you) and Career Services is located in Room 133. 

From the North: Follow Route 13 South into Salisbury. Follow Business Route 13 (rather than the bypass) to the city and proceed four miles to the campus which is located on the right. Turn right onto Dogwood Drive. Turn into first parking lot on the right. You will enter the Guerrieri University Center (facing you) and Career Services is located in Room 133. 

From the South: Follow U.S. Business Route 13 north to Salisbury. Turn left on Dogwood Drive off 13. Turn into first parking lot on the left. You will enter the Guerrieri University Center (facing you) and Career Services is located in Room 133. 

Approximate Driving Times: Salisbury, MD, is approximately 30 miles west of Ocean City, MD; 1 1/2 hours east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge; 2 hours from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington, DE; 3 hours from Norfolk, VA; and 4 1/2 hours from New York City.
