Job Description:

The Event Technical Services Department is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate level student to play a valuable role in the Event Technical Services Department. The position will provide daily secretarial duties in the office that include answering the phone, scheduling staff and events, and providing quality customer service.

Responsibilities:
Office Responsibilities
• Answer office phone during business hours
• File and organize documentation of the office
• Provide quality customer service to all faculty, staff, and students
• Enter data for upcoming events into the scheduling system
• Scan all work orders for events once received and enter into database

Office of Career Services Student Worker
Salisbury University’s Office of Career Services seeks a student worker to assist with the daily operations of the office.  The Office of Career Services serves over 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students as well as the Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Employers who engage with them to help them develop successful careers in their chosen field.

The Career Services team seeks sharp, highly organized, professional undergraduate students to provide assistance in the office’s operations.  Student workers will:
-    Support the office by providing routine office clerical support (making copies, updating files, answering telephones, routing and responding to email inquiries, etc.)
-    Review and update the employer database
-    Assist with special events and projects
-    Greet all visitors to the office in a polite, pleasant, upbeat manner.  Visitors include students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the employers that hire Salisbury students so a positive, professional demeanor is an absolute must
-    Brainstorm with the team to come up with new and innovative ways to engage our students and help them prepare for “life after Salisbury”

Requirements:
-    Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Salisbury University
-    All majors will be considered
-    Must be organized, professional, and eager to learn
-    Must have a keen eye for detail / must be “detail oriented”
-    Professional dress and appearance are required
-    Must participate in a new hire orientation and training meeting to be held in early September and participate in a bi-weekly student staff meeting (exact dates and times will be discussed prior to the offer of employment)

Volunteer Center Student Worker
The Volunteer Center, housed in Salisbury University’s Office of Career Services seeks a student worker to assist with the daily operations of the Volunteer Center.  The Volunteer Center has provided volunteers who have performed many hours of community service to a variety of organizations in the areas surrounding the campus and successfully launched a service learning trip to New Orleans, Louisanna during Spring Break 2016.

The Volunteer Center seeks a sharp, highly organized, professional undergraduate student to provide assistance in the Center’s operations.  This student worker will:
