INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL OFFICIALS

Spring semester

about 8-10 officials.

Games will be played Sunday through Thursday nights from 6-11pm.

Pay will be $8.75 per hour.

Prior officiating/playing experience is preferred.

 Job Description

Officiate intramural basketball,  work under the supervision of the Intramural Graduate Assistant and the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation ~ Intramural Sports.  Attendance is required for the mandatory training and evaluation sessions.

 Duties & Responsibilities

1.   Provide Pre-game assistance

o    Assist in setting up equipment for the evening and/or weekend activities

o    Assist in examining facility for safety hazards.

2.   Provide quality officiating during contests

o    View and follow the Intramural Sports contest and enforce the rules judiciously as possible.

o    Oversee the Intramural Sports contest and ensure participation take place in a safe manner.

Job Description:  Prepare food service facilities for the serving of food.  Wash and prepare eating and serving areas. Maintain work areas and serving areas in a clean, sanitary and safe condition; wash and clean counters and steam tables; wash and store pots, pans, trays and kitchen equipment.  Heat, portion and serve food to students and staff according to established procedures. Count money and prepare cash registers with appropriate amount and denominations of change.  Sell a variety of foods and beverages and make proper change; money for meals and beverages sold and make appropriate change.  Assist in storing unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers and garbage.  Operate a variety of standard kitchen equipment such as a cash register, dishwasher, and ovens.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Maintain regular attendance.
Looking for two students who can work split shifts 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. and two closers for 7 p.m. -12 a.m.
Salary Per Hr: $8.75

Archives student assistant: Spring 1/3/2017 [-]

Archives student assistant:

The student will be creating inventories of folders within boxes using Microsoft Word, double-checking existing inventories by comparing Microsoft Excel and Word documents with the boxes, and making sure all inventories are consistent with one another; making labels for boxes using a Microsoft Word template; transferring documents from moving boxes to archival cartons; replacing damaged folders with acid-free folders; and using a flatbed scanner to digitize historic photographs.

Required skills: competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to lift boxes weighing 30 pounds.

Preferred skills: appreciation for history, attention to detail and organization, and willing to perform repetitious tasks.

Pay: $8.75 per hour

10 hours per week
