Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Chris Norman, CSCS

Chris is beginning his second year on the S & C staff while pursuing his Masters Degree in Applied Health Physiology with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning. During the spring of 2013, Chris volunteered his time to help train men's and women's tennis, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's track and field, and field hockey.

Chris completed his undergraduate degree at Towson University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2010.  Upon graduating he worked with the Parisi Speed School in Edgewater, MD until returning to school in 2012. While at Parisi, he worked with athletes aged 7 and up in a variety of different sports including soccer, football, lacrosse, rowing, fencing, sailing, and more.  Two of his athletes were drafted in the 2013 NFL draft.  They were University of Maryland's Devonte Campbell (Atlanta Falcons) and Kevin Dorsey (Green Bay Packers).

When Chris is not training other athletes, he is usually still in the gym training for his new found addiction to Stand Up Paddleboarding. Chris competes in races all up and down the east coast and is currently training for his longest race yet, a 31 mile race in Tennessee.  He also enjoys fishing, surfing, camping, and anything outdoors.
