Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Mary
Beth Krolikowski, USAW
Mary Beth is currently
in her second year studying in the Applied Health
Physiology Program with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning.
Previously, Mary Beth earned herself a BA in Sports Management from Denison
University. While at Denison, she was a member of Women’s Softball team.
As a three-year starting centerfielder and two-year captain, Mary Beth
achieved athletic accolades such as North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC)
All-Tournament Team in 2008 and NCAC First Team All-Conference and Second
Team All-Region in 2009. Mary Beth also served as the Vice-President of
Denison’s SAAC and Secretary of the NCAC SAAC. It was while she was a
student-athlete at Denison, that Mary Beth found her place in the weight
room. Under the mentorship of Head Strength Coach Mark Watts, Mary Beth
started her career path. As a Student Assistant Coach, she shared her
enthusiasm for Strength and Conditioning and helped her fellow
student-athletes make gains in the weight room.
Mary
Beth has had the opportunity to experience many different Strength and
Conditioning programs as she has completed internships at the University of
Louisville and at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
Human Performance Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. While at the NSCA,
she worked with Tactical Athletes in the CSPD, the SWAT and K-9 Teams of
Colorado Springs, CSFD, and Army Special Forces. She also was able to work
with the Colorado College Hockey Team, the St. Mary’s High School Football
Team and many other local athletes. During her time in the Springs, Mary
Beth was also the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach and Strength and
Conditioning Coach for the Fountain Valley School of Colorado.
