Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Robert
George, CSCS, USAW
Robert will be starting
his second year as an assistant within
the Salisbury University Strength and Conditioning
Department. He is currently studying to earn his
Masters Degree in Applied Health
Physiology with a concentration in Strength &
Conditioning. Robert received a BA in Physical Education from Denison
University. While at Denison, Robert was a four-year starter on the Big
Red’s offensive line. In his career he was awarded the team’s Offensive
Newcomer of the Year (’04) and Outstanding Offensive Lineman (’07) awards.
He was also named to D3Football.com’s Offensive Line of the Week twice in
his career (’06 and ’07).
Currently, Robert holds
certifications from both the NSCA and USAW. In his first year at Salisbury,
he assisted with many sports teams including Football, Men’s Lacrosse,
Softball, Volleyball, Field Hockey and Men’s and Women’s Tennis.
Prior to attending
Salisbury University, Robert worked as a Physical Education teacher at Ceiba
College Prep Middle School in Watsonville, Ca. He has also served as the
Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Pajaro Valley High School
(Watsonville, Ca) and St. Mary’s High School (Colorado Springs, Co).
