Climbing Wall

Current Salisbury University students and faculty/staff are eligible to use the climbing wall facilities during scheduled open times.  A certified climber is present during open times to instruct novice users and to facilitate the climbing sessions.

There are two climbing wall facilities located within the Maggs Center.  The "Vertical Climb" wall is located on the first floor of the Maggs Center in the main arena.  The "Horizontal Traverse" wall is located on the second floor of the Maggs Center in the auxiliary gymnasium.

Sign-ups are taken on a "first come/first served" basis (the climbing wall notebook is located near the Campus Recreation Office located on the first floor of the Maggs Center (at the base of the ramp).  No climbing experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.  Just sign the "Assumption of Risk" waiver located in the climbing wall notebook and follow all certified climber directions.
