Fiscal Advisory Committee Notes

November 10, 2007, PCR, 3-4:15 pm

Members Present: Jackie Eberts, Becky Emery, Memo Diricker, Tim Dunn, Kashi Khazeh, Kevin Dellaire, Jigna Rana, Jo Laird

  • Notes from the October meeting were approved.

  • It was reported that the Supplemental Funds Request from was sent out and copies were distributed to all committee members.  The deadline for their return is December 20, 2006.

  • The actual budget web address is www.salisbury.edu/budget.  (NOTE:  From that page, select budget presentations, then select Operating Budget overview.)

  • Discussion ensued about our communication outline

  • We also discussed how we could facilitate the faculty and staff input into the budget process

  • We received

    • Salisbury University FY 2007 Operating Funds Summary for Academic Affairs, Administration and Finance, Student Affairs, and Advancement.  This document indicated the approved allocations by unit within each division. 

    • Salisbury University FY 2007 Budget Set-Up.  This document presented the working budget, a position statement of where we actualy started as an internal document that we use as well as the difference, which is the difference betweeh the two. 

    • Salisbury University State Support Budget Allocation by Vice President; Incremental Allocation Change as Compared to FY 2006, representing the changes from FY 2006 (last year).
