SUBJECT: Possible Supplemental Funds For 2007-08

One Historic function of the Salisbury University Forum’s Fiscal Advisory Committee charge is: "advising or recommending the disbursement of supplemental and discretionary funds as they become available." Our budget communication outline calls for us to send out a request for information for internal supplemental funding. There is, of course, NO guarantee that funds will be available. However, in the event that funds are available, as they were last year, it is critical to give adequate time to the University community for deliberation.
We ask that you share this request with your constituencies and collect and assemble their recommendations for one-time, non-recurring operating funds. Obviously all needs are seen as significant. Please compile and prioritize the needs of your division and submit them to us by December 20, 2006. A template is attached to make compiling and prioritizing the information easier for you.
It is the committee’s desire that everyone have time and opportunity for input into this process. Thank you for assisting us in this endeavor.
