Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution
The Department of Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution of Salisbury University invites applications to its Master of Arts program in conflict analysis and dispute resolution. Applications for early consideration should be sent by January 15th. Deadline for Applications is April 14th. If applying after April 14th contact Graduate Director. Late applications will be considered case by case.
The two-year MA program in conflict analysis and dispute resolution prepares students from around the globe for positions in alternative dispute resolution, negotiation, mediation, dispute systems design in government and nongovernmental organizations. Our students spend quality time in the classroom, completing a balanced course load, as well as beyond the classroom through a practicum experience that allows them to blend theory and practice by testing their conflict resolution skills within specific organizations of their choice, which ultimately prepares them for the work place.

The MA CADR is a new program that addresses the growing need for highly skilled conflict resolution practitioners to work within judicial, governmental, social services and private sector systems. This is a quickly growing field, with governments and corporations increasingly using mediation and other conflict resolution processes in their day-to-day operations.
Students with any undergraduate major can pursue the degree.
Courses for this program are taught in a cohort, over two years and are offered primarily in the evenings.
The program is closely integrated with theCenter for Conflict Resolution, which functions as a 'teaching hospital.' The center offers extensive opportunities for students to get involved in both research and practice. The academic and clinical faculty work closely with students, ensuring that each students gains valuable hands-on experience in the field, specifically tailored to their individual career goals.
The curriculum mixes strong practice skills with theory knowledge, providing a well-rounded education that allows students to apply theory in the real world. The curriculum also includes a strong emphasis on research skills for those students planning to continue their post-graduate study.
