1. Our program operates on a rolling admission basis. Basically we will continue to admit students until the cohort is filled. That being said we typically conduct a minimum of at least 3 distinct application evaluation periods. The first typically takes place between late January and early February. In this evaluation period we typically admit up to a 1/4 of the cohort. The second application evaluation period is around the end of March/beginning of April. In this evaluation period we typically we admit the largest group (up to 2/3 of the cohort). The final application evaluation period will take place in mid to late May. Typically we will fill the majority of cohort during that evaluation. Typically we don’t admit students in the fall cohort after the 2^nd week in June.

2. As the program is currently constructed we operate as a cohort therefore we do not allow students to be admitted for starting in the spring semester. Students are only admitted to start in the fall semester as a group.

3. We do offer an extremely limited part-time option. Our part-time students must complete a minimum of 2 courses per semester so that the program can be completed in a minimum of 6 semesters. In order to participate in our part-time option you must receive permission from the program graduate director. Typically permission is granted when student can demonstrate a specific need.

4. Students can transfer up to 6 credits to our program. Typically transfer credits when approved are applied to elective coursework.

No transfer credits will be approved for internships
To be eligible for transfer all transfer credits must be at a graduate level, students need to have received a grade higher than a C and awarded by an accredited university to quality for transfer.
No continuing education credits can be applied to our MA CADR program as transfer credits

5. Our program requires the completion of 36 graduate credits. Fulltime students typically complete the program in 4 semesters, basically 2 academic years (September-May). Part-time students typically complete the program in 6 semesters, basically 3 years (September-May).

6. An undergraduate degree is required to be admitted into the program, but that degree does not need to be in Conflict resolution or a related field to be eligible for admission into our program.

7. There is an application fee required to apply be a graduate student at Salisbury University. Our program has no ability to waive this fee. If there is a legitimate reason that you believe the fee should be waived you will need to contact the admissions office to determine if the fee can be waived in your particular case. 8. We currently don’t have any scholarships to offer at his time. We do however have 2 department specific Graduate Assistantships that are available every year. There are also up to 100 graduate assistant positions available throughout the campus that all graduate students are ellible for. Graduate assistantships at Salisbury University provide a monetary stipend (minimum of $2500 per semester) and up 9 credits of tuition per semester or 18 credits per academic year (the tuition award does not cover fees; student remains responsible for their fees). 10. Our cohorts typically are around 18-20 students per year.

11. We have designed our program so that students for the first year of the program take the same six required courses. Since student are only admitted in the fall term students in the same cohort matriculate through the program at the same pace. Essentially this allows students to create a support network for each other within their particular cohort. Furthermore since there are always two cohorts in the program at any given time the first year cohort can interact with the 2^nd year cohort to help ease the transition into a graduate program.

12. At this time our program does not require the GRE scores as part of the admission process. If you have taken the GRE scores and would like to submit your scores you are more than welcome to do that. 13. Proof of English proficiency is required of all international applicants. Most it not all international students that have completed their undergraduate degree outside of the United States must submit either a TOEFL or IELTS score to be eligible for admission into the MA CADR program.

14. All transcripts must be submitted in their original version, in English, with a GPA listed on a 4.0 scale and with credits comparable to SU credits. Otherwise, a professional course-by-course evaluation of all foreign academic transcript(s) is required. This professional evaluation will determine your academic level within the American system of education. The prospective student will be required to pay the cost associated with obtaining the evaluation. The cost of a course-by-course evaluation is approximately U.S. $100 to $150. The following credential service has been approved by Salisbury University (World Education Services, Inc. – http://www.wes.org email: Info@wes.org)

Chinese applicants are required to provide an evaluation from the China Academic Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC).
