Responses:

1.      Our program operates on a rolling admission basis.  Basically we will continue to admit students until the cohort is filled.  That being said we typically conduct a minimum of at least 3 distinct application evaluation periods.  The first typically takes place between late January and early February.  In this evaluation period we typically admit up to a 1/4 of the cohort.   The second application evaluation period is around the end of March/beginning of April.  In this evaluation period we typically we admit the largest group (up to 2/3 of the cohort).  The final application evaluation period will take place in mid to late May.  Typically we will fill the majority of cohort during that evaluation.  Typically we don’t admit students in the fall cohort after the 2nd week in June.

FAQ

10.  Our cohorts typically are around 18-20 students per year.

FAQ

 11.  We have designed our program so that students for the first year of the program take the same six required courses.  Since student are only admitted in the fall term students in the same cohort matriculate through the program at the same pace.  Essentially this allows students to create a support network for each other within their particular cohort.  Furthermore since there are always two cohorts in the program at any given time the first year cohort can interact with the 2nd year cohort to help ease the transition into a graduate program.

 FAQ

12.  At this time our program does not require the GRE scores as part of the admission process.  If you have taken the GRE scores and would like to submit your scores you are more than welcome to do that.  If that is the case please contact the graduate director to make arrangements to submit your score (Robert LaChance – rmlachance@salisbury.edu or 410-341-7987).
