SU takes down UMES in first dual match victory
SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University women's tennis team hosted University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday and earned its first dual match win, 9-0, over the Division I Hawks.

The Sea Gulls (1-3) never dropped a set for the entire match. SU freshmen Kelly Fahrner, Rachel Iosue and sophomore Anna Marie Kable each picked up their third singles victory on the season and improved to 3-1 individually.

SU No. 2 doubles team of Kable and sophomore Hannah Parsons improved their tandem record to 2-1 on the year when they beat UMES No. 2 Fatoumata Ba and Haaveshe Sawyer 8-1.

Salisbury also beat UMES last year by the same score of 9-0. The Sea Gulls will be back in action on March 10, as they host the Gophers of Goucher College in their Capital Athletic Conference opener.
