- The Salisbury University men's and women's tennis teams swept Capital Athletic Conference and Atlantic South region opponent Catholic University on the road Friday in Washington, D.C.

The Salisbury women's team (6-4 overall, 3-0 CAC), ranked No. 14 in the region, won all of its matches in straight sets. Salisbury's top two teammates, seniors Erika Mitry and Jenny Rosler, both won their respective singles' matches and later united and won their No. 1 doubles match.

The SU men's team (11-2, CAC 3-0), ranked No. 8 in the region, also won all of its matches in straight sets. Sophomore Matt Nicholson, ranked No. 14 in the region, defeated Catholic ace Andrew Kracht to set the tone. Nicholson later teamed up with fellow Sea Gull Brendan Kincaid for doubles play where they won 8-1.
