# The
season came to a close in the
regionals of the NCAA Tournament with a 3-0 loss (15-6, 15-12, 15-11)
to Averett College. The Sea Gulls finish
with an 18-18
overall record after capturing their second CAC
Championship and making their
second NCAA appearance in three years. Senior Katie Korreck,
the CAC's 2000 Player of the Year, led the Gulls with 36 assists and 10 digs
against Averett.
First team all-CAC hitter Kara Kowalski had 10 kills and 14 digs, while
second team all-CAC
hitter Donna Hudson tallied 15 kills and 12 digs. Click
