named first-ever All-American in SU volleyball history The All-American award is just the latest in a long list of postseason awards for Krebs as she was named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team by the AVCA, named the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year and All-CAC first team. The outside hitter led the Sea Gulls to a 28-11 record and their first NCAA Division III tournament appearance since 2004. SU also won its fourth CAC championship as the maroon and gold went 7-1 in conference play during the regular-season. Krebs finished the '07 campaign with the new single-season school records for attack attempts (1,519, a difference of 196 more than the old record) and kills (559, 90 more than the old record). Krebs is now the school career leader with a 3.72 kills per game average. She is now third all-time in school history with 1,334 career kills in three seasons. Krebs is just the third Sea Gull to be named CAC Volleyball Player of the Year and the first since 2000. Sophomore Gabby Long was also recognized by the AVCA as an honorable mention Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection. First team All-CAC honoree Long set the single-season digs school record with 779 and most digs per game average at 5.69.
