Game Summary Lister registered her seventh shutout of the season and improved to 8-1 on the year. She struck out the side three times in the game. Salisbury scored the game's only run in the bottom of the seventh as junior catcher Kim Rementer reached on an error, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Megan Ellzy, then scored on freshman Serena Fleming's single to right field. Fleming also enjoyed a productive first game as Salisbury rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat Wilkes. Fleming finished 3-for-3 in that game with a run scored. Junior 3B Leslie White was 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI. Salisbury scored three runs in the fifth inning and three runs in the sixth inning to complete its comeback. Sophomore Erin Ruest (1-0) picked up the win in relief, throwing four innings of shutout ball while allowing just two hits. Lister closed out the first game, pitching the sixth and seventh innings and striking out five of the six batters she faced. Salisbury plays King's (12 pm) and Lynchburg (2 pm) in Saturday's games as the tournament continues at the County Complex in Salisbury.
