Junior SS Jen Prendeville had two hits and Cabrini scored single runs in the second and fifth innings to register a 2-1 victory over McDaniel. Jen Euganeo's RBI double scored Mary Adam with Cabrini's first run. The Cavaliers extended the lead to 2-0 in the fifth as Euganeo reached on an error, moved to second on a sacifice, advanced to third on a single by Prendeville, then scored on the second McDaniel error of the inning.

McDaniel nearly rallied in the top of the seventh. Samantha Abrams' RBI single scored Kim Camponelli with one out. Abrams moved to third and Lauren Cramer singled and moved to second with two outs before Heather Sinclair grounded out to second to end the game.

Cabrini starter Angela Templin worked five innings and earned the win, improving to 14-3. Abrams (15-5) took the loss for McDaniel despite allowing just three hits in seven innings.


Game 2  #3 Rutgers-Camden 8, #6 Mary Baldwin 0  (5 inn)  (Box Score)
Rutgers-Camden scored seven runs on six hits in the opening inning to grab control early and defeat Mary Baldwin 8-0 in five innings. Key hits in the inning included a two-run single by DH Ashley O'Brien and a two-run double by 1B Michelle Schlichtig, her second of the inning.  The Scarlet Raptors sent 11 batters to the plate in the frame.

RCU's Becky Johnson tossed a complete-game one-hitter to improve to 13-3 on the season.
Schlichtig (2 RBI) and Autumn Millett (2 runs) led RCU's nine-hit attack with two hits apiece.

Denise Michael (14-9) suffered the complete-game loss for Mary Baldwin.


Game 3  #1 Salisbury 3, #4 Cabrini 0  (Box Score)
Sophomore RHP Lacey Lister threw a three-hit shutout with a season-high 15 strikeouts to lead #2 ranked Salisbury to a 3-0 win over Cabrini. Lister improved to 26-1 on the year and tied her career-high strikeout total while finishing one strikeout short of the Salisbury single-game record.

Senior 1B Rosie Aley led the offense with two hits, including an RBI double that scored Nichole Fuqua with the game's first run in the opening inning. SU's Leslie White delivered a two-run single in the third to extend the Salisbury lead, with pinch-runner Jodie Lehrer and Serena Fleming scoring on the play. 

Cabrini brought the tying run to the plate in the seventh inning, but Lister closed out the game with her 15th strikeout. Cabrini starter Amy Welch (10-3) worked three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and suffered the loss.


Game 4 #3 Rutgers-Camden 3, #2 King's 0  (Box Score)
Pitcher Michelle Schlichtig carried a perfect game into the seventh inning and settled for  a two-hit shutout as Rutgers-Camden registered its second win of the day, defeating King's 3-0. Schlichtig (19-5) struck out 11 and walked none while allowing just two singles.

Freshman RF Autumn Millett's three-run home run in the first inning, her eighth round-tripper of the year, provided all the offense that Schlichtig would need.  Stacy Haas (single) and Becky Johnson (walk) also scored on Millett's homer.

King's starter Sarah Genewski (17-5) suffered the loss, allowing five hits and three runs in 3 2/3 innings.
