No. 26 Garnet too much for Sea Gulls
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -
The Salisbury University men's tennis team was swept by No. 26 Swarthmore College on Sunday afternoon at the Michael Mullan Tennis Center as rain forced the two squads indoors.

The Sea Gulls (14-6) managed only one three set match as Scott Burtzlaff fell to Jonathan Lo, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4).

The Garnet’s (3-9) No. 1 singles player, Jon Reiss, used back-to-back aces to put away SU No. 1 Brendan Kincaid, 6-0, 6-3, while Evan Thomas dropped only his second match on the year, 6-2, 6-3.

On the doubles side, Kincaid and Burtzlaff gave Reiss and Lo all they could handle but in the end fell, 8-6, to drop their doubles record to 4-1.

The Sea Gulls now set their sights on the Capital Athletic Conference championships as they host Hood College in the first round on Monday, April 16 at 3:30 pm. SU last won a CAC title in 1999.
