#  The Gulls lost 3-1 to Johns Hopkins in the NCAA Tournament to complete the season
 with a 17-3 final record. Sophomore Matt Bowman tallied SSU's goal, unassisted, 
in the 76th minute to tie the score at 1-1, but JHU scored twice in the game's final 
five minutes for the win. Click for Game Recap   Salisbury, champion of the Capital 
Athletic Conference for the second straight year, made its second straight NCAA 
Tournament appearance. The Sea Gulls advanced to the final eight in 1999. 

 Four players were named to the 2000 NSCAA All-South Region teams. 
Senior goalie Mike Svehla, junior back Darren LaRocque and senior 
midfielder Rusty Tritsch were named to the 13-player first team, 
while sophomore forward CR Krauss earned third team honors.
